TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Teaching piano involves much more than just teaching technique and musicianship skills with effective methods. Teaching is a journey of a lifetime that involves continuous development of both student and the teacher's character, values, and personality.

To ensure long term success in learning the piano, I encourage students to practice and develop good character values, such as self discipline, persistence, and patience. These are essential life skills that would help them achieve a better version of themselves in the long run.

I begin the lessons by helping students find their most natural position on the piano, by being aware of their physiology and how to use effectively develop muscle coordination. This is the very fundamental principles of technique before the students are ready to learn interpretation of the musical score.

My mission in teaching music is to grow a new generation of students who are sensitive listeners, skilled musicians, and good citizens with honorable character.
